WEBCRAFT LANE
Privacy notice
Updated 22 October 2026
Webcraft Lane is an independent website studio run by Roy Glaser. Roy is responsible for how the personal information described here is used. For questions or privacy requests, email [email protected].
What we collect
When you enquire, we collect the details you provide: your name, email, business or website, optional phone number, budget, project description, chosen website platform and any preferred call time. We also record your submission reference, date, displayed currency and campaign source information included in the link you used.
Our hosting and security providers process technical information such as IP addresses and request logs to deliver and protect the website. Your approximate country is used to choose pounds for UK visitors and US dollars elsewhere. You can change the displayed currency yourself. Please do not send medical records, identity documents, payment-card information or other sensitive information through the form.
Why we use it
We use enquiry details to answer you, discuss your requirements, arrange a call and prepare a proposal. Where applicable, this supports steps you ask us to take before a contract. We also use limited technical information for our legitimate interests in running a secure website, preventing misuse and keeping appropriate business records. Optional advertising and analytics measurement is based on your choices.
Submitting a form does not subscribe you to a newsletter. We do not sell enquiry information. We do not use automated decision-making to accept or reject your project.
Who handles the information
Enquiries are stored in our private WordPress enquiry system and sent to our business email. Access is restricted to the people authorised to manage enquiries. Our providers include DigitalOcean for hosting, Cloudflare for website delivery, security and email routing, Resend for outgoing email, and Google for the receiving mailbox. Providers process information as needed to deliver those services.
These providers may process information in countries outside your own, including the United States and the European Economic Area. Contact us if you need further information about the providers and relevant arrangements.
Cookies and measurement
The website uses necessary features for security, form submission and remembering your privacy choices. Cloudflare also provides website performance measurements. Optional visitor analytics and advertising measurement are off unless available and you choose to allow them in Cookie settings. You can reject optional measurement and still submit an enquiry.
When optional Google measurement is enabled and you allow it, Google may receive information about your visit and whether an enquiry was successfully submitted. Advertising click identifiers may be stored with your enquiry to understand which campaigns generate enquiries. We do not send the name, email, phone number or message entered in this form to our advertising measurement tools. Personalised advertising is not enabled by this website.
Your cookie choice is remembered for up to six months on this browser. You can change it using Cookie settings in the footer. Withdrawing permission stops future optional measurement; it does not undo processing that already took place. Learn how Google uses business data.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry information while discussing or working on your project. We review inactive enquiries after 12 months and delete or anonymise information that is no longer needed. If a project goes ahead, contracts, invoices and related correspondence may need to be kept longer for the project, accounting, legal obligations or resolving a dispute.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your information, or ask us to stop contacting you. Depending on the rules that apply to your situation, you may also have rights to restrict processing, object, receive a copy in a portable format, or withdraw consent. Some information may need to be retained where there is a valid legal reason. We may need to verify a request before acting on it.
Email [email protected] to make a request or raise a concern. You can also contact the data protection regulator in your country. UK visitors can contact the Information Commissioner’s Office.
